I never said that!

So my son just asked me when I'm going to get him Guitar Hero, like I promised. And I was like, "Wtf, I never promised" and he's like, "yes, you did."  So I know that these did so/did not debates never go well for me, because hello, he's seven, it's not like he has things to do all day, so I said, "well if I did, I didn't mean it" and he says "so you lied" and I said "I guess."  Which makes me feel like I did something wrong. This is why it's better never to talk to your children.  Or to my children.

That is the exact reason why I have NEVER ONCE talked to your children.

My daughter always goes for the last word. She is almost 8. I think she may get this horrible disorder from her grandmother. Case closed. I said closed. Stop talking. Now.

We used to call my youngest son, "Loop Hole" because he'd find one in every parental mandate or conversation. It was impossible for me to win and I used to be a hostage negotiator. We had big hopes for him to become a lawyer, but he's 22 now and hasn't decided what he wants to be when he grows up. I wish I'd thought to just stop talking to him. It would have made life so much easier! LOL! Lisa
