I don't understand

Jeans with high heels. This is something I've never understood. I probably never will. Jeans mean comfort to me. High heels? Not something I'd equate with comfort. You are either being casual or dressy. Those two don't go together. If you are wearing jeans and an old sweatshirt with high heels, you just look weird, not stylish.

I feel the same way! I've never owned a "nice" pair of jeans - paying more than $75 for denim isn't my style - so I couldn't try to pull this look off even if I wanted to.

I am guilty of high heeled boots with jeans, but not stilleto-type, and definitely not shoes. But then I'm not exactly known for my fashion sense. Otherwise I agree, totally.

At first I thought well nice jeans can go nicely with a pair of heels... then you added the sweatshirt part. That I understand and completely agree.

I read that as "Jesus with high heels." Which makes for a completely different post. Quite interesting, actually.

When you're short, you either wear heels or hem your new jeans. If you're lazy, hemming is too much of a pain in the ass, so that leaves the choice between heels and that ultra-casual slouchy ragged-bottom jeans look. I'm short and lazy, but not slouchy. I wear heels with my jeans. Cathy
