I'm Tired of Cleaning Up After YOUR Kids

If you come to my house and play in my basement playroom, it is good form to at least offer to help clean up or suggest to your children that they help pick up some of the toys they toss all over. And if you don't do such a thing, how about the next time you come over, you don't comment on how messy the playroom is?

Seriously that SUCKS. I had a house guest do that the other day. Really, you feel the need to point out that last time our house wasn't all put together? I hope you choke on the toothbrush your borrowing, because you forgot yours.

that's just rude. Although I wish my daughters would leave the toy pick up when they're going home because I'm happy to do it for them. It's like ... the least I can do, given they've given me gorgeous grandchildren...but I understand they need the kids to learn to pick up at other people's houses.

Uh-uh?!?!? After snarky comment #1 about the tidiness of said playroom, that person would never get invited over again. Just saying...
