Fucking Nature

omg, I'm in NC, and it's so beautiful here but I was woken up at like 6 AM by the birds chirping. How do people live like this? I mean, I'm so used to the police-ambulance-fire truck sirens in NYC, it's downright soothing, but BIRDS?!

LOL Marinka! I can imagine what a shock that is for you. I live in a small city nothing like NYC. The birds don't even phase me

If you stay there log enough, you'll learn to enjoy it.

OUCH stop throwing shit at me..

FINE! I'm leaving

Lol. I'm from California but I totally love NYC's constant sirens, all day/all night. And the jackhammers sounds and all things construction. My husband thinks I'm nuts.

I'm having trouble feeling sympathy...is it warm there? Then yeah, I got nothing.

I lived in the Carolinas for a year and lost a LOT of sleep due to what I thought were birds. They ended up being tree frogs. Noisy little bastards.

Upstate NY summers with a swampy back woodsy area was louder than the city... all those darn peepers (the aforementioned tree frogs). Now I live in suburbia, I miss those noisy little critters. I sleep with a fan to keep out the sirens. WARM, you say, (shivering)...what is this warm you speak of?
