You with the green thumb

Thanks for keeping up your yard and putting in new sod under that tree. Did you know that you put in a completely different type of grass? St. Augustine. Right and what you have now and we all have is Bermuda. They are a little different as you can see now that it's really taking off.  Bermuda takes less water and that's why we have it here. Good luck with that and keeping it to yourself cuz I don't need that over here.

ROTFL!! I run a landscaping company and see people do that all the time. Later on they'll wonder why some is dead and not the rest. Glad to know I'm not the only one who notices.

Are you kidding me? Be happy that your neighbor is actually trying to do something. Get over yourself.

i agree with the over comment, get over yourself. Your neighbor is taking care of his lawn. that should be enough.

Um, also pissy neighbor person Bermuda doesn't fare well under trees while St. Augustine does. Sorry, though, soon enough the St. Augustine will take over your yard. Happy watering!!

St augustine isn't that horrible to water. And it does actually grow in shade, otherwise I'd have a wonderful mud-pit of a back yard.

grass people are uniting!? I'm in! Hang on, what kind of grass?

whatever kind of grass that pleases you at this point. read the other comments....we're allowed all different kinds of grass. this is NOT a St. Augustine grass cult. We're free to go with any kind of grass...

In that case, I vote for happy grass.
