wedding

Her "will you be my bridesmaid" invitation clearly stated to be honest, not talk behind her back and let her know if she was being a bridezilla. I did just that. Now she gave me 24 hours to decide if I really want to be a part of the wedding since it's clear to her that I need massive amounts of professional therapy and have an evil spirit.

"Say no!" - Its best to stay far away from that kind of weirdness!

Wow, this sounds extremely familiar right down to the accusations of mental illness part. Ditch her. You don't need her. It will suck at first but in the long run its the best thing you can do.

what that invite really meant was this:

be honest: lie through your teeth and support all my decisions, this is my day and anything I want should be praised syncophantically and accepted as gospel.

Not talking behind her back: there will be no discussion amongst yourselves about my bridezilla tendancies

let me know if I'm being a Bridezilla: I will be a Bridezilla, this is just my way of giving you the heads up. I will be insane, demanding, touchy and a perfectionist throughout, you will back me up, agree with all my thoughts, and tell me I'm right even when I'm making other people crazy, causing people to cry setting up impossible hurdles for you and everyone else to leap over. If you take this invite at face value I will turn on you.

Really if you were any kind of friend you would have known that.
