Mother in Law

Is it unreasonable for me to expect my mother in law to actually wait
at the door for someone to let her in? She drops by unannounced and
just let's herself in while we are watching tv downstairs. A week of
watching our kids after school does not make up for our relationship
being shit. Agh!!!

omg, my MIL comes to my house and treats it like she is visiting her son in a frat house. YES, she should wait to be greeted and let in. Good crap these ladies make me nuts.

I mean that with no bitterness or ugly thoughts in the holiday season. Really.

Hi- just clicking other peoples blogrolls, your blog is great!

Put a description out of her to your local neighborhood watch. Maybe someone will call the cops the next time she comes over.

Arrrggghhh!

I know this one.

I'm in the house (a bungalow), alone, taking a pee, with the bathroom door open, because there's no-one else in the house.

Next thing I know, father-in-law and mother-in-law are stood outside bathroom after having let themselves in without knocking or ringing doorbell!Even though hubby's working abroad for 3 months, and they know he's not here!

Another time, father-in-law decided to visit us very early one weekend morning, whilst we were still sleeping, in bed.

Husband, in his infinite wisdom, gave them doorkeys, for front and back!

So now I fitted security chains, to front and back! They can't get in when I'm home now.
