The only person in my office even remotely close to my age used to be really nice to me. We had lunch together nearly every day from June to December. For the last 2 months she's been cold and practically unresponsive. I don't even know what the hell I did (if anything!) to make her start treating me like some useless summer temp. I'm sick of eating lunch everyday with my iPhone as my only company!

Why don't you just ask her?
Um, so ask her what's up. What are we? 12?
That's such a difficult question to ask someone, especially when you really don't have any idea what happened to change things so drastically.
I feel for you : ( Having a really good book to read during lunch every day would at least be less lonely. Maybe.
That happened to me once. The awkwardness lingered on for 6 months before the reason was revealed: I had requested lemon meringue pie for my birthday. She wanted an almond cake.
The moral: Sometimes the iPod makes WAY more sense.
Have lunch with some-one else - even *gasp* an older person. I'm guessing you're young. We old folk have no truck with gadgets
